Circling the outskirts of Birmingham on the number 11 bus, two teenagers develop an unusual and unlikely friendship. Meanwhile a young girl is witness to her mother’s attempt to leave a violent relationship.

Against the backdrop of a changing city these relationships force everyone involved to re-examine all they thought they new about love, trust and friendship. Interweaving and colliding they build to shocking conclusions.

Rachel’s Delahay’s vivid and powerful new play boldly explores cycles of violence and what it takes to break them and is a visceral examination of the effects of such violence on a generation of young women.

Circles shows at The REP, Birmingham, from Friday 9 to Saturday 24 May and we've joined with the theatre to offer readers the chance to win tickets to the 8pm performance on Monday 12 May.

Competition closes at midnight on Tuesday 6 May and winners will be notified by phone/email the following day.
