A story about love in all its extremes, Hopelessly Devoted is the work of highly regarded young poet and rapper Kate Tempest, and is here presented by the equally well-regarded (but somewhat longer established) Paines Plough. Described as ‘mandatory viewing for all teenagers’, the play follows Tempest’s well-received debut offering, Wasted, and brings together ‘firecracker lyrics’ with a ‘fierce soundtrack’ to achieve ‘visual and sensory overload’.

Hopelessly Devoted shows at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre from Thurs 19 September to Sat 5 October. We've joined with the theatre to offer What's On readers the chance to win one of three pairs of tickets to the 7.45pm performance on 24 September.

Closing date for entries: 13 September 2013
