Based on the book by award-winning German children’s writer and illustrator Martin Baltscheit, Only A Day is sometimes sad, often funny but always thought-provoking. The story recounts the experiences of a fox and a wild boar as they keep watch over the hatching of a mayfly, a creature which lives for only a day. But when they meet a beautiful flying insect who’s spent years preparing to hatch into the world, they find themselves embroiled in a truly life-changing adventure... A play about the cycle of life and the power of friendship, Only A Day is directed by Belgrade Associate Artist Tony Graham, one of Britain’s leading directors of theatre for children and young people. The show features live music and is suitable for children aged seven and older.

Only A Day shows at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, from Sat 7 - Sat 21 February and we've joined with the theatre to offer readers the chance to win now of three family tickets (minimum one adult) to the 2pm showing on Tues 10 Feb.
