Trailing in its wake all manner of plaudits, gongs and awards, Slava’s Snowshow is a truly unique production. The show has taken the world by storm since debuting in 1993, delighting and touching audiences in over eighty cities worldwide. It's a truly unique work, in which a bed becomes a boat, a web of cotton envelops the audience and one tiny piece of paper becomes a snowstorm that threatens to blow you away. Slava has found his inspiration down the years in a number of international clowns and comedians, among them British performers like Tommy Cooper, Max Wall and, to a lesser extent, Norman Wisdom and Benny Hill. “I love Monty Python too,” he adds, “they were a great intellectual team, never mind about the humour!”

Slava's Snowshow takes place at the Birmingham Hippodrome from Wed 12 - Sun 16 November and we've joined with the theatre to offer readers the chance to win a family tickets (4 people) to the performance on 12 November at 7.30pm
