It was certainly a long time coming, but Yowl’s first album, Milksick, was finally released in autumn last year and made an immediate impact. The Peckham-based five-piece have been peddling their musical wares for the better part of a decade now, during which time they’ve moved beyond the post-punk label with which they were initially saddled and started creating a far more melody-driven sound.
