The Core Theatre is bringing four unique outdoor performances to Solihull’s Brueton Park during August. Gather up your friends and family, pack a picnic, and bring along your own seat or blanket to enjoy some fantastic theatre shows performed in a scenic lakeside setting.

The Core outdoor programme launches with Gilbert and Sullivan’s ‘The Gondoliers’, on Thursday 1 August at 6pm. Set in picturesque Venice, this light-hearted operetta will whisk you away to a world of blissful romance, barbed satire and comedic chaos.

‘Angelica Sprocket’s Pockets’ on Saturday 10 August at 5pm is filled with live music, puppetry, audience interaction and madness and is the perfect treat for the whole family

On Tuesday 13 August at 6pm is ‘Julius Caesar’ – with a twist! Expect the tearing of togas, the swishing of roman swords, some preposterous puppetry and the biggest battle scene five actors have ever created!

Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy of manners and triviality, ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’, then comes to Brueton Park on Thursday 22 August at 6pm.

What's On are offering you the chance to win a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) to an outdoor show of your choice at Solihull's Brueton Park.

Competition closes Monday 22 July.
