Bringing together a unique blend of exhibitors, inspirational galleries, practical workshops and in-depth lectures to create Europe's largest celebration of patchwork and quilting.

This year’s professionally curated galleries include work from all over the world including: from the USA - Luke Haynes, who has created portraits made from the clothing his subjects were wearing as they sat for him and SAQA’s Food for Thought exhibition; Gloria Loughman’s Radiant Landscapes collection and the Golden Texture group exhibition from Australia; Textile Fantasies by Vladimir Telnykh from Russia; Sayings and Proverbs from the Quilters de México, and a whole host of galleries from leading artists from across the UK and Europe.

The Festival Of Quilts takes place at Birmingham's NEC from 6 to 9 August and we've joined with the show's organisers to offer readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the event.

Competition closes 24 July
