Presented by Birmingham Royal Ballet

Frederick Ashton’s 1960 version of La Fille mal gardée is a firm family favourite. A choreographed exploration of rural life, it tells the simple and engaging story of Lise - the daughter of Widow Simone - and her mother’s attempts to find her a wealthy suitor.
The production features live music by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, not to mention ‘slick comedy’, a clog-dancing dame and a super-cute pony!
