Discover sound, light and dance experiences inspired by Diwali with traditional South Asian music and Bollywood glamour. There’s something for everyone to enjoy from a UV disco, a bhangra dance workshop to light displays.

Meet historic characters with stories to tell about their time in the Black Country, migration and what life was like from the Victorian times to the Swinging 60s.

Don’t miss the Museum’s historic lighting collection with beautiful examples in all different shapes and sizes. And for the highlight of the evening, bring along your home-made lanterns to join in the lantern procession, or watch with wonder from the sidelines. Make sure to keep an eye out for surprise statement lanterns – can you guess their link to the Museum?

The procession will begin by the entrance of the Museum, Visitor Centre at 6.30pm.
