Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s Vocal & Operatic Studies Department here transforms an old gasworks into a fairytale world to present Jules Massenet’s four-act Cendrillon, an opera based on Charles Perrault’s 1698 version of the Cinderella fairytale. 
This family-friendly production is sung in French with English surtitles.
