Birmingham-based Autin Dance have been performing since 2013. “We draw on contemporary social issues and events to make work which is beautifully crafted, accessible and relevant,” says founder Johnny Autin. “The company has a reputation for creating powerful performances, catapulting audiences into intense dance worlds which we hope will resonate with them long after they leave the auditorium.”
Latest production Zig Zag! is non-verbal, takes place outdoors, and finds two performers building a playful world from simple objects. The show has been designed for youngsters aged five and older.
