Jack White rose to stardom as the guitarist & lead singer of the White Stripes, a rock duo he formed with his wife at the time, Meg White (Jack was born with the surname Gillis, but took Meg’s last name when they got married).

Although they divorced at the turn of the century, it was a further 11 years before the pair announced their professional break-up, since which time Jack has forged a hugely successful solo career.

He’s visiting the Midlands in support of sixth studio album No Name, released last summer to pretty much universal acclaim.
