The first ever guitarist to be selected as a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist and a Gramophone magazine cover star, Sean Shibe is a creative force of nature. His questing spirit to explore, experiment and expand the repertoire has led to his own transcriptions of historical Scottish lute manuscripts, recordings on electric guitar of music from Hildegard von Bingen to Moondog, and a slew of new commissions for his instrument.
This event takes place in Symphony Hall's Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space.
