The Royal Collection Dutch and Flemish Old Master drawings here presented alongside some of the Barber’s own masterworks on paper, have been selected for display by students from the University of Birmingham.

The exhibited artworks were chosen from more than 700 drawings, among which are pieces by Golden Age 17th-century artists such as Rubens, Van Dyck, Goltzius and Avercamp. The collection also includes work from the 16th, 18th and early-19th century by talented artists whose names are nowadays less familiar.
