During half-term join Constable Bakewell on this family friendly, 30 minute walking tour.

During the tour young guests will learn how wrongdoers in the Birmingham of old were dealt with, from spending the night at the lock-ip before an appearance in front of the magistrate the next morning, and then often a trial at court.

Along the way hear about real-life crimes, such as the man who sold ten stones of rotten fish at his chip shop, and the monkey who spent the night at the Lock-Up after causing trouble the streets of Birmingham.

Tour starts and ends at the lock-up, and is less than a mile in length. Tickets for the tour do not include admission to the museum.
