Charities and good causes across Birmingham can apply for a share of £15,000 to help continue or support their work in the community.

The cashback fundraising platform easyfundraising, which has helped UK charities and good causes raise an additional £72 million, has opened applications for grant funding for a second time this year through its Impact Fund initiative.

Following the success of the first Impact Fund in the spring, easyfundraising has doubled the grant value this autumn and will be allocating £15,000 in funding to 15 oranisations giving each one a much needed £1000 funding boost.

Direct funding means immediate and practical help for charities and community groups struggling with the rising cost of living. In easyfundraising’s latest State of the Nation survey, published in December 2025, the cashback platform found that 90% of its charities and causes said that things have got worse for them due to the cost of living, whilst 84% have experienced reduced fundraising income and 54% are concerned about cashflow.

Previous Impact Fund recipients include the charities FEAST With Us, which works to improve the nutrition and health of food insecurity in London, Chesterfield Foodbank, that provides food and essentials to those in need, and The Esther Project which supports women facing crisis in Warwickshire.

Good causes do not need to be signed up to easyfundraising to apply. The funding on offer is unrestricted and can be used however the charity wishes. Unlike other grants, the streamlined application and unrestricted funding mean the 15 grant recipients can be smaller registered charities or grassroots and hyperlocal causes that are at risk of falling through the cracks.
