Cracking comedy, iconic characters and a live orchestra – Aardman’s much-loved creations arrive at Birmingham Town Hall this Bank Holiday weekend for a very special premiere event.

On Friday 1 May 2026, Aardman in Concert launches its UK tour, celebrating 50 years of the legendary animation studio. Expect unforgettable moments on the big screen, brought vividly to life by a full orchestra performing the music live.

Warm, witty and brimming with nostalgia, Aardman in Concert brings together the characters and stories generations have grown up with, blending classic animation with the excitement of live performance. Audiences of all ages can enjoy favourite moments from Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Morph, Creature Comforts and more, in a joyful celebration of British storytelling at its finest.

The first half offers a vibrant journey through Aardman’s extraordinary 50-year history, opening with the premiere of a specially created film and score. Featuring Wallace & Gromit’s most daring escapades, Shaun the Sheep’s funniest moments and appearances from beloved characters, it’s a fast-paced, feel-good tribute to the studio’s enduring creativity. After the interval, enjoy a full screening of the BAFTA award-winning Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death, with the orchestra performing the score live.

With a special on-stage visit from Shaun the Sheep, plus the chance to meet the musicians and take photos with Wallace & Gromit after the show, it’s the perfect way to spend the Bank Holiday with family and friends.
