Ever wanted a job that’s a step out of the ordinary? Are you looking to push yourself further than ever before? The Bear Grylls Adventure park is on the hunt to fill a range of extraordinary and thrilling jobs opportunities to start this autumn.
The attraction is looking to recruit around 140 roles in the Birmingham attraction across a range of sectors, including indoor skydiving Instructors and High Ropes and Climbing Supervisors to join the team.
Full training will be provided for all roles meaning you don’t need to be an expert to apply. Jump Instructors will teach visitors how to freefall, being responsible for the day to day smooth and safe operation of the Skydiving area and helping to inspire guests achieve more than they thought possible.
Encourage guests to summon up their courage as a High Ropes and Climbing Supervisor, guiding them through the Climbing, Zip Line, and High Ropes areas of the attraction and help them zip slide from a Chinook helicopter onto the most extreme high ropes action in Europe.
General Manager, James Thomas comments: “We’d love to hear from anyone who wants to get out of the nine to five grind and who craves adventure!
“The ethos of the attraction is to help people achieve what they never thought possible, which is why you don’t need to be skilled at the job before taking it – the team provides training across all roles. These will be some of the most exciting and rewarding job opportunities in the area – how many people can say their day jobs help others learn a new skill and have a great day out, whilst allowing them to test their limits and experience adventure at the same time?”
What’s more, members of the public can also get involved by applying to become an Adrenaline Advisor. The successful applicants will experience a unique opportunity this summer to be the first to test all of the hair raising activities that the attraction has to offer for free. They’ll dive, fly, face their fears and conquer Europe’s highest High Ropes before anyone else, ahead of the attraction opening in Autumn 2018.
As the Adrenaline Advisor positions pose both mental and physical challenges, the adventure park is looking to recruit those with a little bit of inner grit, however they don’t have to be an iron man or woman.
Bear Grylls said: “The Bear Grylls Adventure is all about adopting that ‘never give-up’ spirit and being willing to face new challenges. Someone who has a positive outlook on life and the determination to undertake a variety of mental and physical challenges and who want to learn a new skill in the process will be perfect for any of the roles on offer – it’s about having that go-getting mindset.”
If you want to be part of the Adrenaline Advisor team, post up your recent adventure videos or photos to @BearGryllsAdventure Instagram page #BeTheFirstToTest #AdrenalineAdvisor #BearGryllsAdventure, and they will be scouting for the winners.
