Southern Brazil herds of cattle graze vast pastures, providing Brazil with meats for the famous churrasco barbecues – a century old gaúcho tradition. 

Fazenda bring their roots and traditions and offer their guests the best rodizio experience. 

Your Fazenda experience begins with a visit to a gourmet sides bar that features quality salads, fresh cut vegetables, breads, cured meats, continental cheeses, sushi, and hot dishes, including traditional Brazilian Feijoada (bean stew with meat).

Once you are ready for the meats, you control the service with a small double-sided card placed on your table. The green side signals the chefs to bring out skewers of sizzling meats one by one, while the red side indicates a resting point. To resume the service, simply display the green side again. Use the card to control the service to your own pace and enjoy the tradition behind the unique Brazilian way of serving.

Meats include beef - picanha (cap of rump), alcatra (rump), tritip (bottom sirloin), file-mignon (beef tenderloin), contra filet (sirloin), fraldinha (beef skirt), lamb, chicken thighs, pork belly, pork sausage, spicy chorizo, chicken hearts, gammon with pineapple, chicken with bacon and more.

The lunchtime menu costs £18.50 on weekdays and £20.50 on weekends and bank holidays and includes a smaller selection of meats and the evening menu costs £32.50 from Monday - Sunday and includes all the above.

Founded in Leeds, Fazenda has sister restaurants in Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh.

Builders are currently at work at Fazenda's premises at 55 Colmore Row and the restaurant is due to open in October this year.
