Choristers from a popular multigenre community choir are set to rub shoulders with some of the best of British acting talent at a special Christmas charity concert later this year.
Northants Sings Out (NSO) have been invited to perform alongside readings from David Tennant, Hugh Bonneville, Dame Imelda Staunton, Richard E Grant, and Amanda Holden at A Christmas with the Stars.
The choir join the line-up for the special event at St Marylebone Church on Wednesday 10 December 2025 - raising funds for show organisers Imagine This, working to improve the mental wellbeing of seriously ill children and their families across the UK.
Currently halfway through their debut headline tour of the UK after winning over millions of new fans plus celebrity supporters, NSO are thrilled to be involved with the charity show - organised by Imagine This founders and actors Sarah Parish MBE and Jim Murray MBE.
Gareth Fuller, choir leader and artistic director of NSO, said: “We’re absolutely honoured to be part of A Christmas With The Stars, sharing a stage with some of Britain’s most loved performers for such an incredible cause.
“As we continue our Club Classics Live tour, the charity concert is a reminder of what music does best: bringing people together, lifting spirits, and creating joy that lasts far beyond the final note.”
NSO will bring their Club Classics Live show - celebrating the influence of club culture on British music - to Birmingham’s Hockley Social Club on Friday 24 October, London’s Peckham Levels on Saturday 1 November, Hasting’s White Rock Theatre on Saturday 8 November, and Northampton’s Royal and Derngate on Saturday 29 November, before closing their tour at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on Friday 19 December.
Under Gareth, who directed the choir at Liam Gallagher’s sell-out Knebworth shows attended by over 160,000 fans, NSO are now into their 11th year after celebrating 10 years in the business in 2024.
The 25 to 65-year-old group of singers from Northamptonshire who form NSO originate from a variety of backgrounds and are dedicated to creating a sound that demonstrates the community they share through their warm energy and enthusiastic performance.
Known for delivering big choral favourites which led to a slew of A-list celebrity supporters backing their journey and music, NSO have received endorsements from the ‘Queen of Pop’ Madonna, broadcaster Chris Evans and funk-soul icon Chaka Khan.
Despite none of its singers coming from a professional vocal performance background, Northants Sings Out proudly proves that community voices can do extraordinary things, one show-stopping performance at a time.
Tickets for A Christmas with the Stars on Wednesday 10 December at St Marylebone Church, London are available from the Imagine This official site here. Tickets for the NSO headline tour are available from the official NSO site here and individual venue websites.
