Global superstar Ed Sheeran will headline Radio 1 Big Weekend, it has been announced today.

The event, which brings in the biggest names in music, will take place in Coventry’s War Memorial Park from 27-29 May, bringing Coventry 2021 to a close.

Other confirmed artists on the Saturday include Yungblud, Calvin Harris, Aitch, Joel Corry, AJ Tracey, Anne-Marie and Central Cee.

​More than 70,000 fans are expected over the three-day event. Tickets go on sale on Friday 18 March. More information can be found here.
