Leading UK choir Ex Cathedra is offering two magical concerts to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home in the lead-up to Christmas.

The choir's Music By Candlelight concerts are at the heart of Christmas. Annual performances in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Shropshire see sequences of music and readings flow seamlessly from seasonal favourites to little-known gems and stunning new works.

The group is streaming Christmas Music By Candlelight from Symphony Hall this year in a socially distanced presentation that reflects the spirit and challenges of 2020. The concert is available to watch from 7.30pm on Wednesday 23 December, and ticket holders can watch it as many times as they wish until Tuesday 5 January. Tickets costing just £12.50 can be purchased HERE.

Ex Cathedra has also licensed its 2019 film - recorded at the beautiful Georgian church of St Paul’s in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter - to Sky Arts, where it's scheduled for 11.25pm on Tuesday 22 December and will be available to watch on demand.

The two concerts are designed to complement each other. Audiences can expect 'Christmas classics, well-known carols, luxurious harmony and spinetingling music', with several pieces written especially for Ex Cathedra by composers including Liz Dilnot Johnson, James MacMillan, Alec Roth and Roderick Williams.
