A Cannock-based charity dedicated to funding research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND) has announced the final celebrity line-up for its highly anticipated Masked Entertainer fundraising dinner, set to take place on Saturday 18 October at Birmingham’s Edgbaston Stadium.

The Mel Evans MBE Foundation, established by Lynn Pritchatt in memory of her partner, Staffordshire crown green bowling champion Mel Evans MBE, will welcome a host of well-known personalities for an evening of entertainment, fundraising and hope.

Among the confirmed celebrity guests will be football legend Marcus Stewart, who is living with MND and has become a passionate advocate for raising awareness and supporting others affected by the disease.

He will be joined by Coronation Street stars Daniel Brocklebank and Peter Ash, as well as former England cricketer and television favourite, Phil Tufnell.

Adding to the excitement, the line up now includes Tommy Cannon, one half of the legendary comedy duo Cannon & Ball, and Pat Sharp, renowned radio presenter, television host and DJ, best known for his work on Fun House and chart shows on Sky Channel and Nescafé UK Top 50.

Along with these household names, a number of surprise guests will make an appearance on the night.

Guests at the gala will enjoy a drinks reception, a three-course dinner and a unique live entertainment experience inspired by the popular ITV1 gameshow, the Masked Singer.

Throughout the evening, celebrities will perform songs anonymously in elaborate costumes, while a panel of guests attempts to guess their identities based on clues provided. The event will also feature an auction, raffle and live music, creating a memorable night for all in attendance.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting vital research into MND and providing care for those affected by the condition. Tickets are available now via TicketTailor. For more information about the event or to enquire about sponsorship packages, visit melevansfoundation.org.uk
