Legends from the world of football, sport, music and entertainment will take to the pitch at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park for Game4theChildren on Saturday 11 October.

The charity football match will shine a light on the plight of child homelessness both regionally and nationally, raising vital funds for Shelter and the Birmingham City Foundation.

Legends Soccer will deliver this special fixture at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park, which will kick-off at 5pm.

Four-time Champions League winner and football icon Clarence Seedorf will captain one of the two teams, with the second superstar to be announced in the coming days.

Dutch maestro Seedorf will be joined by a host of top names in his squad including Louis Saha, Mark Noble, Gael Clichy, Jens Lehmann, Joleon Lescott, Rachel Yankey, Russell Howard, Packy Lee, Tamer Hassan and Alex Brooker.

Proceeds from the match – which will feature star-studded A-listers, legends and influencers, and be broadcast around the world – will go to the Birmingham City Foundation and Shelter, highlighting our commitment to the child homelessness cause on a local and national scale.

Meanwhile, Blues' most prominent celebrity supporter, Steven Knight CBE, the acclaimed screenwriter, producer, film director and creator of Peaky Blinders, has agreed to lend his personal support to this important event.
