Shrewsbury Flower Show have announced that Go West will headline the Saturday evening of this year's event.

Also announced is the Saturday evening support band, Beatlemania. With over 20 years’ experience in performance and music, Beatlemania have established themselves as masters of the art. The critically acclaimed tribute act have performed throughout the UK and worldwide. 

This latest announcement comes after organisers had previously announced last week that band Liberty X will headline Friday 11 August, bringing their nostalgic sound of the noughties. Plus ABBA tribute Watch That Scene as support, performing a medley of the Swedish super troupers’ greatest hits.

Their debut single ‘We Close Our Eyes’ was released in 1985, it reached number 4 in the UK charts and became a top 10 hit in the USA. The success of ‘We Close Our Eyes’ was followed by three other top 10 hits – ‘Call Me’, ‘Goodbye Girl’ and ‘Don’t Look Down’.
