The Grand Hotel Birmingham, a landmark hotel located in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre, has today announced it has been recognised by Tripadvisor as a 2025 Travellers’ Choice award winner.
The coveted award celebrates hotels that have consistently received outstanding reviews on Tripadvisor over the last 12 months, placing The Grand Hotel Birmingham among the top 10% of all listings on Tripadvisor globally.
First established in 1879, The Grand Hotel Birmingham is a five-star Victorian property and one of the city’s most historic landmarks. Having hosted royalty, celebrities and politicians over the years, including Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, Tom Cruise and more, The Grand Hotel Birmingham recently completed its £50m restoration and refurbishment.
Jaw-dropping suites are the epitome of ‘grand’ living, complete with king sized four poster beds, uninterrupted city views and lavish oversized tubs big enough for two. The glamorous cocktail bar, Madeleine is one of the city’s most sought-after bars inspired by Parisian chic, serving cocktails and Champagne afternoon tea.
Most recently, the hotel has launched ‘Downstairs at The Grand’, a sophisticated speakeasy, serving as the city centre’s only late-night live music jazz bar from Friday 16 May, from 10pm until 2am, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
