Hip-hop fans of a certain vintage will surely be making a beeline for Midlands Arts Centre on Saturday 29 August, when the venue will be hosting an event recalling the seminal Birmingham-Manchester battles which took place there in the mid-1980s.

The free-to-attend get-together will see some of the leading Birmingham and Manchester crews marking the 40th anniversary with battles, music and performances throughout the day.
