Maison Mayci, an independent boulangerie, patisserie, and restaurant based in Moseley, Birmingham has launched ‘Tous Ensemble’, a curated programme of events to celebrate good food, shared moments, and the art of slowing down.
Following a recent refurbishment, Maison Mayci has entered an exciting new chapter, launching the Tous Ensemble programme, which is French for ‘Everyone Together’. The series of events includes everything from kitchen takeovers and communal dining experiences to creative workshops and hands-on cooking sessions.
Led by Remi Faveau, the popular neighbourhood gem is in the heart of Moseley and shaped by a lifelong passion and love for authentic artisan baking. With a fully functioning bakery upstairs, Remi and his team bake and cook everything on-site, keeping the art and tradition of French baking at the heart of Maison Mayci.
Guests can now book onto the upcoming Tous Ensemble experiences via the Maison Mayci website.
19 February - Biscuit Decoration Workshop
In partnership with The Moseley Hive, a community centre based in Moseley village, this interactive workshop will allow families to decorate biscuits for a special window display to mark spotLIGHT, Moseley’s weekend-long celebration of light, creativity and community.
5 March - Tous Ensemble Dinner
The next Tous Ensemble dinner is in partnership with Huw Rowley-Conwy, a local award-winning chef from The Alchemist in Brindley Place. Huw and Remi will be hosting a French-style communal dinner, cooking together to inspire conversation and foster connection through the joy of sharing a meal.
21 March – Tous Ensemble Jazz Evening
Later in March, Maison Mayci will be home to a Tous Ensemble jazz evening, with guests invited to enjoy a night of live music alongside artisan sharing boards including charcuterie, cheeses and bar snacks, with vegan alternatives available.
Aside from the Tous Ensemble events, Maison Mayci is open from 8:30am - 4:00pm on Tuesday to Friday, and from 8:30am - 5:00pm on Saturdays, serving a homemade menu, including bread, cakes, sandwiches and seasonal specials.
A range of drinks is also available, including artisan coffees, soft drinks, wine and local beers. For more information and to keep up-to-date with new events, visit: mayci.co.uk
