Now in its third year, the much-loved annual event will see another day of free family fun bring the Birmingham suburb to life, in a vibrant end-of-summer celebration for the whole community to enjoy.
Organisers from Kings Heath BID promise a packed line-up of entertainment on the day, including live music from local up and coming musicians, a whole host of children’s entertainment, arts and crafts activities, fresh street food from Birmingham’s finest traders, and much more soon to be announced.
As always, the festival will feature an abundance of stalls showcasing Kings Heath’s rich offering of local businesses, including the many independents and boutiques, vintage and antique shops, hair and beauty salons, cafes and bars, and charities, to name a few.
With last year’s event attracting over 8,000 attendees, organisers expect this year’s event to be even bigger and better than ever before.
Chair of Events and Marketing of Kings Heath BID, Stan Hems, explains “Following ar fantastic day at last year’s Kings Heath Street Fest, we’ve got some exciting plans to make sure that this year is even bigger and better, so put the date in your diaries and invite all of your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues. Everyone is welcome, so the more the merrier, and remember to keep checking in online for more details coming very soon…”
Kings Heath Street Fest will take place this year on Sunday 11th September 2016.
