Following the huge success of the first 80s LockdownFest last month, Let’s Rock have announced a second online festival - 80s LockdownFest2 - for Friday 3 July from 7pm.
The evening will feature performances from 1980s favourites OMD, Marc Almond, Tony Hadley, Wet Wet Wet, Sister Sledge, The Boomtown Rats, Go West and many more.
The first online 80s LockdownFest drew an estimated audience of more than three million people and raised over £140,000 for Let’s Rock’s official charity partner, Child Bereavement UK.
The event was livestreamed on YouTube and was trending at No2 during the evening, above Britain’s Got Talent and just below Eurovision 2020: Europe Shine A Light.
Original tickets remain valid for next year’s rescheduled dates, and each ticket is transferable to any other of the Let's Rock locations in 2021.
Let's Rock lands at The Quarry, Shrewsbury, on 17 July 2021. Tickets are available at letsrockshrewsbury.com
