Taking place on Saturday 2 May on International Workers’ Day, this special evening brings communities together through music, poetry and culture at a time when inclusion, justice and anti-racism matter more than ever. The event also marks the official launch of the wider Unite the People Festival, building momentum for a powerful city-wide celebration of shared heritage and collective action.
Headlining the night are LEGEND, delivering an electrifying live performance inspired by the timeless music of Bob Marley and messages of peace, love and unity. Expect an uplifting, high-energy show in MAC’s vibrant Outdoor Theatre, transformed into a carnival-style atmosphere with live music, spoken word, food stalls, bunting, anti-racism information stands, an outdoor bar and community spirit.
