A new look for the iconic Peaky Blinders mural is now live on Hill Street, near Birmingham New Street station in celebration of the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man film released last month on Netflix.
The 50-meter installation by artist Jon Jones, depicts scenes from the new film featuring the iconic Tommy Shelby alongside memorable moments and characters from the wider Peaky Blinders series. Born and raised in Birmingham, Jon Jones has collaborated with the West Midlands Police Museum to explore the city’s 19th-century criminal underworld.
Drawing on archival materials, including police records and historic mugshots, he blends fact and fiction to create evocative, atmospheric works. His haunting paintings examine the legacy of the infamous Peaky Blinders, capturing both the myth, and reality of the era.
The installation has been delivered in partnership with Central BID Birmingham and Network Rail, reinforcing the city centre as a cultural destination while celebrating its creative heritage.
