The popular venue behind Birmingham’s top rated Peaky Blinders escape rooms, has launched a new Sherlock Holmes-themed puzzle trail that will take players outside of the usual indoor setting and into the city.

Escape Live, based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, has created a two-mile immersive puzzle trail of the city centre’s landmarks, testing visitors’ teamwork and puzzle solving skills with challenges inspired by some of Sherlock’s most famous cases and characters.

The trail is called Sherlock: The Hunt For Watson with visitors using an iPad app to complete the riddles and prove their sleuthing skills as the next Dr Watson.

The 90-minute challenge is suitable for puzzle lovers of all ages, complete with props and an entertaining games master.

The exciting trail offers perfect outdoor entertainment for families or an ideal icebreaker for corporate away days.

The new venture builds on Escape Live’s successful Dr Watson’s Office escape room and mobile app puzzle series, which are favourites with visitors.

The Sherlock-themed trail expands Escape Live Birmingham’s unique portfolio of 60-minute escape rooms and experiences that includes Time Machine, a time travel themed room and two official Peaky Blinders themed rooms, where visitors are tasked with either infiltrating a rival gang to uncover a double agent or hiding evidence before a police raid.

Escape Live Birmingham also has a 1920s themed bar alongside a lounge and games room for guests to refresh and relax before or after their game.

Escape Live is open 9am to 11pm everyday in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Visitors can book here.
