The Old Joint Stock has revealed the cast for their upcoming production, Be More Chill.
Leading the cast is Tom Dickerson as Jeremy. Tom is currently touring with Dear Evan Hansen as Jared Kleinman and has also appeared in Heathers and The Book of Mormon. He is joined by Broadway and Emmy-nominated Maya Jade Frank as Chloe. Maya’s impressive credits include Mary Poppins and Evita on Broadway, Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark (alongside Olivia Rodrigo and Jake Paul), and most recently Next to Normal in Los Angeles, where she starred as Natalie.
Jessica Lim will play Jenna (Dear Evan Hansen, Shrek UK Tour), Tommy Fouweather appears as Squip (I Am Harvey Milk), and Shannon Bourne takes on Christine (Stranger Sings!, Becoming Nancy). Steven Rostance as Mr Heere (The Play That Goes Wrong, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, Noises Off).
Emerging talents Jack Carr will play Michael, John OG as Rich, Harry Chamberlain as Jake and Ailsa Erskine as Brooke.
Jeremy Heere is just an average teenager. That is, until he finds out about “The Squip,” a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most: a date with Christine, an invite to the raddest party of the year, and a chance to survive life in his suburban New Jersey high school. But is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk? A hit on Broadway and in the West End, Be More Chill is based on the novel by Ned Vizzini.
