In partnership with Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Legacy - a one-day cultural celebration honouring the lives, music and enduring legacy of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath - is taking place on Saturday 25 July.

Taking place in Birmingham, the city where four young men from Aston helped shape a global movement, the event brings together fans, musicians, artists and members of the wider rock and metal community to celebrate a legacy that continues to inspire generations around the world.

The day begins at 10:00am with a community Culture Walk, inviting everyone to journey through some of the most significant landmarks in the story of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. Following in the spirit of last year's memorial gathering, there will be the opportunity to travel through the heart of Birmingham, visiting locations that have become key symbols of the city's contribution to music and culture, including; Victoria Square, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Black Sabbath Bridge, the Ozzy Osbourne Memorial on New Street, Ozzy the Bull and The Crown.

Following the Culture Walk, gather at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery for an afternoon of community-led celebration, reflection and cultural programming exploring the impact of Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and Birmingham's role as the birthplace of heavy metal. Through exhibitions, talks, performances, storytelling and community engagement, the event will celebrate the generations of artists, musicians and fans inspired by their legacy.

The evening culminates in the day's main event - a special concert inspired by Back to the Beginning. Bringing together established artists, guest performers and supergroups, the show will celebrate the music of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne through iconic songs, collaborative performances and visual storytelling. Archival footage, community contributions and highlights from Birmingham's memorial gatherings will be woven throughout the experience, creating a powerful tribute to the artists, the city and the global community they inspired.

More than a tribute performance, Legacy is a celebration of heritage, community and cultural identity. It is an opportunity for Birmingham to welcome the worldwide metal family home and recognise the lasting impact of one of the city's greatest cultural exports.
