Rudy's Pizza Napoletana has announced it will open its highly anticipated Sutton Coldfield pizzeria this March, bringing its fan-favourite, true Neapolitan pizza to 10 Birmingham Road in time for spring.

The new pizzeria will showcase Rudy’s signature style in a spacious 3,360-square-foot unit across two floors, with approximately 100 covers internally and 32 externally for dining.

The new opening is set to create over 20 new jobs for local people, including roles in the kitchen, front of house, and management.

Thousands of local pizza lovers will have the opportunity to secure a free pizza through Rudy’s Pizza on Us’ giveaway, which will see 3,000 pizzas given away to fans who sign up here.

While pizzas are at the heart of Rudy’s, it wouldn’t be a traditional Naples experience without a well-stocked bar. Visitors will also be able to wash down their food with iconic Italian spritzes, crisp Italian and local lagers, and classic stirred cocktails.

Since launching in 2015, Rudy’s has expanded from a single pizzeria in Manchester to 37 locations nationwide. The Sutton Coldfield restaurant marks the 5th opening in the West Midlands, following the popularity of its city centre, Brindley Place, Harborne and Royal Leamington Spa sites.

Rudy’s quickly gained a cult following for its authentic Neapolitan dough and high-quality ingredients. Rooted in a passion for pizza, Rudy’s stays true to Neapolitan tradition, serving classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all inspired by Naples, the birthplace of pizza. Alongside these year-round favourites, Rudy’s Pizzaioli craft three rotating specials every six weeks, inspired by famous pizzerias in Naples.

Testament to its authenticity, Rudy’s is the largest organisation in the world to be accredited by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), the international body that protects and promotes traditional Neapolitan pizza making.

In 2025, Rudy’s was also recognised among the World’s 50 Best Pizzerias, ranking 23rd globally. Each pizza, from the classic Margherita to the fiery Calabrese, is made to AVPN standards using traditional techniques and ingredients sourced directly from Italy.
