The Cure have announced a handful of arena shows across the UK in winter 2022 - including a December Birmingham date.

Best known for songs such as The Love Cats, Close To Me, Just Like Heaven, Lovesong and Friday I'm in Love, The Cure are an English rock band formed in 1978 lead by founder and lead vocalist Robert Smith.

The band's last studio album was 2008's 4:13 Dream. In 2019, they released the concert film CURÆTION-25: From There To Here | From Here To There, as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations.

They'll be joined on the UK and Ireland leg by special guests The Twilight Sad.

The Cure play Utilita Arena Birmingham on Wednesday 7 December. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 10 December here.
