Standup & Brunch launches at The Mill, Digbeth on Saturday 23 October.

Comedians from Live At The Apollo and Mock The Week, a fantastic bottomless brunch with overflowing rum punch, and club DJs are all included at the new event.

MC for the event is Karen Bayley. Karen has toured extensively with Joe Lycett and has picked up multiple awards and accolades. She is widely regarded as one of the best in the business.

Brennan Reece is a bright young rising star who burst onto the comedy scene after winning English Comedian of the Year in 2015. The following year he was nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for his sell-out debut show Everglow.

Brennan is becoming a regular on screens across the UK having appeared on Live at the Apollo (BBC), Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Roast Battle (Comedy Central) and Life Lessons (BBC).

He has also featured in everything from popular TV shows like The Comedy Allstars (ABC), Skins (Channel 4) to feature films such as Soulboy, a film about the Northern Soul underground scene and was also a presenter on Top Gear Extra Gear (BBC).

Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee, Chris Washington is fresh from a run on Mock The Week. If you like your comedy hard-hitting, boundary-pushing, genre-defying, jaw-dropping, eye-watering and Brexit-berating, then Chris is probably not the comedian for you. However, if you fancy a laugh as a lad from Wigan tells you some funny stories, buy a ticket and take the ride. As seen on Live from the BBC (BBC One) and Mock The Week. Jason Manford Tour Support. British Comedy Guide Recommended 2018. ‘A mainstream comedy star in the making’ (Chortle.co.uk). ‘Funny, relatable and heartwarming’ (BroadwayBaby.com).

Nathan Caton is one of the most exciting young comedians on the scene. Gigging since the tender age of 19, over the last decade he has established himself both as a circuit headliner, and a name on TV and radio with multiple appearances on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Russell Howards Good News and much more. Within his first few years on stage, he had picked up various accolades and coveted plaudits including the Chortle Student Comic of the Year award and Broadcast Hotshot. Since then Caton has gone from strength to strength, wowing audiences at comedy clubs up and down the UK, and on his numerous TV and radio appearances, with his delightfully charming blend of personal and playful comedy.

A to be confirmed club DJ will be spinning the funkiest and freshest upbeat and party tunes to get you up on your feet between comedians and courses.

Add to the mix generous servings of chicken wings and fries to fill you up (vegan options available) and bottomless rum punch served to your table, this is one event that you don’t want to miss.
