On 22 June, enjoy Space Spectacular, a voyage through a galaxy of favourite music from deep space and beyond with lights, lasers and indoor fireworks. Performed by the symphonic 70 piece London Concert Orchestra, the concert will include some of the most loved scores of John Williams including Star Wars, Superman, E.T. and Close Encounters plus other favourite scores including Gravity, Predator, Alien, Apollo 13 and Independence Day.
The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and City of Birmingham Choir return to Symphony Hall with Spectacular Classics on 9 November, following sold out performances last year. The concert is packed with some of the most loved classical music of all time, including Also sprach Zarathustra, Sleeping Beauty Waltz, the Grand March from Aida, Intermezzo from Cavalleria rusticana, O soave fanciulla from La bohème along with Proms favourites including Nessun Dorma, Rule, Britannia!, Land of Hope and Glory and an explosive 1812 Overture, complete with cannon effects and an indoor firework finale.
