Coughton Court is inviting the public to get creative in the unique surroundings of the historic estate after unveiling a full line-up of artist-led workshops.

Led by local artists and makers, the day workshops offer participants the chance to explore a range of creative activities, from watercolour painting and life drawing, to basket weaving and botanical plaster casting.

Imogen Birch Throckmorton said: “We’re excited to be working with such fantastic local artists and can’t wait to see people exploring their creative side at Coughton Court. Our vision has always been to make Coughton a true community hub and a welcoming space where locals can come and enjoy the vast array of activities we have on offer. From life drawing to basket weaving, there’s something on offer for everyone!”

The art workshops form part of an extensive events calendar at Coughton Court this year, which includes open-air theatre performances, arts and crafts markets, and a selection of wellbeing activities, all aimed at broadening what’s on offer at the Tudor country house.

All workshops will take place in the Stableyard. For more information about the art workshops and how to book, please visit the website.
