A new illuminated experience featuring over 30 installations, live characters and interactive moments is taking place at The Belfry Hotel and Resort from Friday 27 November - Sunday 2 January.
The Winter Light Experience will open at will take visitors on a 60–90-minute journey through part of the Brabazon golf course. Spanning over a mile, the trail features interactive games, immersive installations, and a story that unfolds as you explore.
The experience follows a festive story in which Santa makes an unexpected landing, scattering pieces of Christmas magic along the trail. Visitors are invited to follow the lights and discover clues as they help put the magic back where it belongs.
Alongside the illuminated trail, visitors can enjoy festive food and drinks and a fully licensed Après Bar, set within a free-to-access Christmas Courtyard. The festive experience continues along the trail, with fire pits for toasting marshmallows and other seasonal treats to enjoy along the way.
Designed to appeal to families, couples and adults alike, the experience combines immersive light installations with plenty of photo opportunities and room to pause and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Visitors can make the most of the Après Bar and enjoy seasonal treats in the Christmas Courtyard, while the Heated Winter Cabins are available to book in advance in 1-hour-30-minute slots.
VIP tickets include fast-track access to the experience, a soft or alcoholic drink, marshmallows and complimentary access to a private Heated Winter Cabin during their visit. Guests can relax in the cabin with table-service drinks and bring back festive food options from the Christmas Courtyard area to enjoy during their stay.
Standard tickets are available from £18.50 for adults and £12.50 for children aged 3–15, with family tickets for two adults and two children from £57.25. Children under three can attend free. Ticket prices vary throughout the event, with selected dates and times at different price points.
Preview Night on Friday 27 November offers the first chance for visitors to attend the Winter Light Experience, with specially reduced ticket prices. Dedicated sensory sessions will also take place on 30 November and 8 December, offering quieter soundscapes and reduced capacity for visitors who prefer a calmer experience. Selected dates will also be dog-friendly, with guide dogs accepted on all nights. Tickets and further information are available at winterlightexperience.co.uk
