Ghetto Golf, a crazy attraction which mixes crazy golf, cocktails, street food and DJs, is set to open in Birmingham's Custard Factory this October.

Ghetto Golf is already a hit in Liverpool and will feature 18 holes - some fun, some sinister. For example, the Liverpool venue features a graveyard hole which has a headstone with Here Lies The Sun Newspaper, due to the articles over Hillsborough. The Birmingham venue will follow the same personalisation procedure and local Birmingham graffiti artists will be on board to help with the set.

Operations Manager Jay told What's On "Ghetto Golf is the work of two best pals Daniel Bolger and Kip Piper, they had the idea a few years back. It was an idea they believed in and felt it was something the general public needed on a night out. Partly the evolution of the hospitality industry were seeing more venues offering that little bit more than casual drinking and eating, people want an experience from their night outs.

"We will also have a local street food vendor on board. As much as Ghetto Golf is growing into a corporate business, there is still a huge emphasis on independent and local businesses - we feel this is really important."

The opening times will be Monday - Wednesday from 3pm - 1am and Thursday - Sunday from 12 midday - 1am. The on-site street food vendor will also follow the same opening hours.
