Skerryvore’s fusion of folk, trad, rock and Americana has seen them twice named Scotland's ‘traditional music live act of the year’. Hailing from the remote Isle of Tiree - they took their name from the Skerryvore lighthouse that lies 12 miles off the island’s coast - the ensemble has its own annual festival, Oban Live, which attracts more than 10,000 people and has hosted major names including KT Tunstall, We Banjo 3, Julie Fowlis and Capercaillie.
