This special experience combines a colourful illuminated winter walk under the stars and a pop up courtyard festival.
As dusk falls, the natural beauty and wonder of Capability Brown’s Temple Wood is awakened. An illuminated trail through the ancient trees lights the way ahead for a serene winter walk. Landmarks, like Paine’s Bridge and the Stone Arbour, towering trees and hidden surprises are all picked out in a wash of light and hues of colour.
Enchanted Weston celebrates the beauty of the natural world, taking its inspiration from the cold crisp nights, the chill in the air, the sparkle of frost and the night sky.
With Mother Nature given a helping hand, this joyful experience is all about the allure of the night and a reinvention of the pleasure grounds that were created hundreds of years ago by the master of landscaping, Capability Brown. A rising fog over Temple Pool will create a mystical sense of awe and fascination, and the appearance of mysterious smoke rings will add to the intrigue. Other new surprises include added sparkle in the form of a magic mirror ball area for picture perfect photos!
Visitors will find the Stables Courtyard lit up by the flames and warmth of fire pits and the promise of some fabulous winter warmers to eat and drink. Creative partner Festive Fizz and Eats is injecting a sense of the winter festival atmosphere with faux furs to snuggle up on around the fire, street food to tuck in to, marshmallows to toast and, whether it’s a cool cocktail or luxurious hot chocolate, there’s an array of drinks to indulge in.
