‘A truly traditional Christmas to remember’ is on the cards at Blists Hill Victorian Town this year, when the award-winning Ironbridge venue turns back the clock and recreates the celebrations of an authentic Victorian Christmas.

Commenting, Richard Aldred from the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust said: “It’s been such a tough, challenging year for so many of us that we really want to make this the most memorable Christmas ever.

“We’re offering a day filled with unforgettable old-fashioned family fun - a magical marvel from start to finish which will have something for everyone.”

Attractions include a festive welcome from brass bands and carol singers, a Victorian Christmas shopping emporium, pantomime and performances, Horse Bus rides, a real ice rink, a host of free, themed craft activities - and even falling snow!

And, of course, Father Christmas will be paying a visit too, bringing seasonal cheer to the Finding Santa Grotto in the mine and the Santa & Elves Workshop Grotto.

Events run from November onwards. For more details and tickets, visit ironbridge.org.uk
