An 'Unbroken Britain' survey run by Provident Personal Credit revealed Wolverhampton as one of the friendliest cities in the UK.

Over 3,000 people took part in the survey to find out which UK cities came on top in the following catergories, Most Welcoming, Most Friendly, Most Polite, Most Safe, Best Area Up Keep, Most Trust, Most Happiness and Most Gossip.

Wolverhampton ranked in the Top 10 for two catergories - Most Friendly and Most Welcoming. Ranking eighth in the friendly catergory, the city beat the likes of Manchester, Birmingham and London. Whilst placing ninth in the Most Welcoming catergory, Wolverhampton placed ahead of other major cities such as Edinburgh, Bristol and Cardiff.
