Welcome to The Old Bell, Shrewsbury. The Old Bell was first recorded in 1780 but had been operating as a public house long before this. The pub was originally called the bell but became The Old Bell in 1850. This pub name is usually associated with a church and pubs with this name were often owned by the church, in this case probably the Shrewsbury abbey.

The pub is run by Simon Perks and he will be bringing the old style pub into the 21st century. With a stylish bar/restaurant and tastefully decorated rooms, you won't want to leave whether you're here to stay, or just for a drink.
