Lichfield Arts will be welcoming the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Kitty MacFarlane when she makes her Lichfield Guildhall debut on Sunday October 6th.

Years of working with other musicians in the studio, supporting musicians such as Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, Blair Dunlop, and Elephant Sessions have helped to refine Kitty Macfarlane’s sound, stage presence and song writing prowess. Her most recent album Namer of Clouds takes in topics ranging from nature, mankind’s relationship with the natural world, intervention, rewilding, climate change, migration, and women’s historical associations with textiles and the land.

A Lichfield Arts spokesperson said ‘When your fans include the likes of Iggy Pop, Mark Radcliffe, Tom Robinson, and your albums and music receive critical acclaim, a musician has something very special to offer. Kitty MacFarlane’s pure, clear voice, uncluttered ensemble sound, acoustic guitar, and judicial use of sampled sounds will mean that this will an unmissable concert for fans of acoustic music’.

The concert takes place on Sunday October 6th, from 8.00pm, with doors opening for 7.15, and tickets costing £12.00. For further information, and to book tickets visit phone (01543) 262223, or call into the Lichfield Arts Office in Donegal House on Bore Street.
