Cannock's new £160 million designer outlet will open on Monday 12th April, it has been confirmed.

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands was originally due to open in September 2020 but the opening was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The opening will now be in line with the latest lifting of lockdown rules in England, where non-essential retail is allowed to reopen.

The outlet will be McArthurGlen’s first UK opening in over 20 years and the seventh British centre in its portfolio, joining its leading designer outlets in Ashford, Bridgend, Cheshire Oaks, East Midlands, Swindon and York.

Renowned fashion brands including Coach, Kate Spade, Hugo Boss, Levi’s and Calvin Klein are amongst the many stores that will be offering year-round savings of up to 60%. Popular eateries Five Guys, Starbucks and Wagamama will also be on site. The centre will also create 1,000 new retail jobs for the local community, supporting around £20million of employment income each year.

A children’s play area, a dancing fountain, bicycle parking, electric car charging points, and beehives will also feature at the centre.
