A popular event honouring the memory of those who lost their lives in service is to return to Lichfield Cathedral this November.

Poppy Fields is an immersive projection which sees poppies and flowers cascade across the ceiling, walls and floor of the cathedral. The acclaimed sound & light show was first presented in 2018 to mark the centenary of World War One. Accompanying music has been composed by David Harper, while poetry is read by Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne.

Poppy Fields shows at Lichfield Cathedral from Saturday 6 to Saturday 13 November. Timed tickets costing £7.50 per adult, £6.50 per child (under-threes go free) are available from 5.30pm until 9.30pm. Last entry at 8.30pm.
